about Deep Dixie

This is about the book Deep Dixie by Annie Jones. This what is on the back of the book. Dixie Fulton-Leigh is in trouble. Deep
For generations the Fulton-Leighs have been the wealthiest, best-educated, most powerful family in Fulton's, Mississippi.
Not to the nuttiest.
And now that Dixie' s daddy is gone, it's up to her to step into his shoes-which she is perfectly capable of doing, no matter what the lawyers say. As for Jake Walker, the rugged ex-sawmill owner who's waltzed into her town-and her life-with the intention of taking over the family company...well, Dixie can handle him, too. As long as the good Lord and Miss Lettie are there to help her out...
But the scrappy centenarian who's been with the Fulton-Leighs since Great Grand-Daddy's day has a secret-and it's a shocker. If word gets out, life in Fulton's Dominion will never be the same.
Nor will Dixie.

Well for what I thought of this book it was a really good book. You would love it. Right before you start the new chapter it has a bible verse of James. Sometime you just might get it in the chapter too. I really like this book more then some of the other's I have read in the past. It keep me wanting to know whats going to happen next. I never finish a book this fast as I did this one. The writer did a very good job at with this one. I love how it around out everyone in the end too. You got to read and find out how she did it. I just might try to find other book by Annie Jones. I hope that one of you go out and get this book you would love it.

Now for the book that I am started to work on is The Hope of Refuge by Cindy Woodsmall.
This what is on the back of the book. Raised in foster care and now a widowed single parent, New Yorker Cara Moore struggles against poverry, fear and relentless stalker. When a trail of memories lads Cara and her daughter, Lori, away from the city toward an Amish community, she follows every lead, eager for answers to mysteries from her past and a fresh start. She quickly discovers that Dry Lake, Pennsylvania, is no place for an outsider. But one amish man, Ephraim Mast, dares to fulfill the command he believes that he received from God-"Be me to her"-even though doing so threatens his way of life.
Fearful of the strange Enlischer woman causing turmoil for her family, Ephrai's sister Deborah tries to focus on the marriage and home she longs to begin with Mahlon Stoltzfus. Her dreams are threatened when her fiance' begnins behaving oddly, withdrawing, causing concern for both Deborah and Mahlon's mother, Ada. Will Ada's vison for transforming a run-down house unite them all in a common purpose-or push Mahlon away forever?
Torn between the requirements of his community and trying to do what he believes is right, Ephraim rishs losing everything, including a developing friendship with guarded single mother. And only he knows that long-held secrets about her family history ripple beneath the surface of Dry Lake-secrets with the power to tear apart the home Cara is deperately trying to create.

A little bit about the author Cindy Woodsmall is the author of When the Heart Cries, When the Morning Comes, and When the Soul Mends. Her ability to authentically capture the heart of her characters come from her real-life connections with Amish Mennonite and Old Order Amish families. A mother of three sons and two daughter-in-law, Cindy lives in Geogia with her husband of more then thirty years.

Alright thats all I am going to say about either of this books for now. But when I am doing I will let you know how it was.
